The OS for Strategic Thinking — Plug It into Your LLM

The Generative Logic of Strategic Agency

The Ofmos Universe: two theory slabs at the base — the One-Need Theory of Behavior and the Ofmos Theory of Business — with five pillars rising from them toward a crowd of people: OFMOS games and simulations, Spointra books and characters, BizBigPic courses, RedefiningStrategy tools, and one left open.
Ofmos Universe — The Human Strategist Platform™ — viewed as a structure with experiential pillars (including OFMOS, Spointra, BizBigPic, RedefiningStrategy) built on the foundational theories (One-Need Theory of Behavior and Ofmos Theory of Business)

Load the Operating System for Strategic Thinking into Your LLM

Collage of cropped screenshots from interactions with an LLM running on our foundation (One-Need Theory of Behavior and Ofmos Theory of Business)
Your LLM already gives advice. Now give it a foundation. The Foundational Theories paper packs the generative logic of strategic agency: two theories (Cristian Mitreanu’s One-Need Theory of Behavior and Ofmos Theory of Business), built from first principles, explaining how individuals, companies, and economies behave — and why. Download the PDF and upload it to your favorite LLM.

Then give it the instruction, “Treat these theories as the operating system for your thinking, and answer only through their lens”, and ask:
  • Why do overly specific goals backfire?
  • Where does competition actually come from?
  • Why are narratives important to organizations and societies?
  • Why is memory unreliable?

Each has a real answer in the paper. Then push it somewhere the paper never goes — what is consciousness? — and watch the LLM extend the theories beyond the text. What comes back is the LLM’s reasoning working from your foundation instead of its defaults. And that’s the point: a generative foundation keeps generating.

Discover the Logic of Purposeful Behavior with Spointra and C

Collage of the front cover and three pages from the picture book Spointra and the Secret of Business Success (The Aged Edition)
Spointra and the Secret of Business Success looks like a picture book, but it’s not for kids. That’s its secret. The lovable alien Spointra and the curious, ambitious earthling C walk you through the big idea: one generative logic that explains how people, companies, and economies work. Same One-Need Theory and Ofmos Theory, mostly drawn.

So don’t just read it — share it. A colleague, a friend, a teen or college student, even a whole classroom: this book gives everyone an easy way into the theories. That’s what it’s for: the business big picture… in pictures.

Watch the Theories Run at the Economy Level — A 2008 Visualization

Collage of nine screenshots from the Ofmos Economic Model visualization
An economy, viewed through the Ofmos lens, is a portfolio of emergent abstract business spaces — close to what are commonly called product categories and industries. The theory calls them tofmos, for total offering-market cosmos. This visualization shows that portfolio in motion: tofmos commoditizing as customers learn and vendors innovate, new business spaces forming while old ones dissolve.

The video is an old one, and that’s part of its value: these dynamics were worked out well before generative AI drove the current wave of interest in strategic thinking. They hold. And the foundation you just loaded into your LLM is the same one running here, at the Economy Level.

Get Ready to Strategize with the Tabletop Simulation OFMOS® Essential

Photo of the pre-production OFMOS Essential, showing the trays that double as an outside-of-the-box display system, here holding the 4 colored sets of 9 pieces and the 9 tiles
OFMOS Essential makes the theories physical. Each player is a CEO managing a portfolio of nine products across nine environments on a shared 9×9-position board. Every turn, the CEO takes one action — launch a product, commoditize it, innovate it, or retire it — each with a different payoff. Products placed next to each other can form synergies that pay bonuses. No business knowledge is required, just the rulebook.

And that’s just the Product Level, where your pieces are products. With exactly the same mechanics and components, simulate strategizing at all five levels of reality: Individual, Human-AI, Product, Company, and Economy. The Foundational Theories paper provides the theory underneath all of it.

A better world in a box.
